Good to know
- Amex’s pages do not agree on how far back statements go: one says the last six months, another the previous two years. The list under PDF Statements is the answer for your card. Source: Amex: Payments, statements and balance
- Use americanexpress.com/sg. The .com.sg address refuses secure connections and only redirects over plain HTTP.
Then send it to monies
Forward the PDF to the monies bot in Telegram. The statement is read in memory and never stored. Only the list of transactions is kept, and only you can see it. Your first 5 statements are free, and there is no bank login and no card to enter.
Questions
Is an Amex statement a bank statement?
For monies, yes. A card statement lists your spending for the month, and monies reads it the same way it reads a bank account statement. The payment that settles the card shows on both statements; monies recognises it as a card bill and asks you about it once, so the same money is not counted twice.
