Questions
monies says my HSBC statement is password-protected.
That is the emailed copy. Open the HSBC Singapore app, go to Cards → View statements, and share that copy instead. It has no password. Or: Open it with your password, then use Print → Save as PDF to make a copy without the password, and send that one.
My HSBC statement has no text to copy. Will monies read it?
Yes. Some HSBC card statements are printed as images of letters rather than text. monies reads those too, and keeps any letter it cannot read as a placeholder rather than guessing.
